We launched our first course on expense tracking after realizing existing resources either oversimplified or overwhelmed learners. Kept it focused: 12 lessons on categorizing and monitoring daily spending.
Text and videos weren't enough. We built scenario-based quizzes where you make real budget decisions and see the outcomes immediately. Pass rates went up because people could practice.
Students asked for a way to see their improvement. We added dashboards showing completion rates, quiz scores, and skill progression. No gamification for the sake of it, just clear visibility.
